Maurice has studied Computational Linguistics and NLP at Ruhr-University Bochum, with focus on Natural Language Generation. In his PhD thesis, he examined how to controllably generate evaluative language with neural text generation models and LLMs. Currently, he is a GenAI Engineer at SVA GmbH and is involved in research on the reproducibilty of empirical evaluation studies of text generation systems.
