Claudia Kretzschmar received the diploma degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in low-power circuit design methodologies from the Technical University of Chemnitz. In 2005, she joined AMD in Dresden, working in functional verification of CPUs. She held several roles in technology development when GlobalFoundries was founded out of AMD and now is project managing the companies’ worldwide University Partnership Program as part of the external R&D. These external collaborations cover a wide range of research areas, demonstrating the capabilities of GF’s technologies.
