Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Reiff-Stephan


örg Reiff-Stephan studied Information Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on mechanical design and manufacturing at the Technical University of Berlin and received his PhD in 2001 at the Production Technology Center Berlin in the field of assembly technology and factory management. In 1997 he founded the company RS Point - Design & Technik, and between 1999 and 2010 he was managing partner of NAISS GmbH. His main areas of activity were handling technology, automation technology and process optimization as well as the construction of complex production machines for the automotive industry. In 2011 he was appointed professor for automation technology at the TH Wildau. At the TH Wildau he is head of the study programs "Automation Technology" and "Automated Energy Systems", is a founding member of the affiliated Institute for Material, Development and Production (iMEP) and director of the Institute for "Cyberphysical Production Systems" - iCPPS. He is chairman of the board of the Federal Association for Applied Automation Technology in teaching and development as well as a collegiate member of the DFG Review Board "System Technology" from 2016-2024.
